Our MissionMore than volleyball. A movement.
RIZE started with a group of Northern California high-school players who kept watching teammates walk away from the sport they loved — not because they weren't good enough, but because club volleyball had priced them out. Instead of accepting that, they built the club they wished existed: a 501(c)(3) run by the athletes themselves, funded by sponsors rather than family checkbooks, with no-cut tryouts, need-based scholarships, and mentorship built into every season.
Today that founding board of teen officers still sets the culture, plans the fundraisers, and runs the programs — supported by an adult leadership team and coaches from across NorCal. The promise hasn't changed since day one: if a girl wants to play, cost is never the reason she doesn't.
